Vegan Chilli Con Carne

Recipe developed by our friends at Wonderbag. A rich, spiced dish made with our Meat Free Mince, beans and a hint of cocoa. Great with tacos or tortilla!

Ingredients
 30 ml oil
 1 onion, finely chopped
 1 green bell pepper, diced
 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
 5 ml cayenne pepper
 15 ml paprika
 30 ml tomato paste
 15 ml cocoa powder
 600 g crushed tomatoes
 2 bouillon cubes (veggie stock cubes)
 3 400g can black beans, drained and rinsed
 7 ½ ml hot sauce
 15 ml salt
 10 ml coarse black pepper

Method

Heat the oil in a medium sized pot, add the onions and garlic and fry until lightly browned.

Add the Fry’s Mince and fry for 2 Minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, bring to the boil, and simmer on high for 2 Minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent the beans from sticking.

Place the lid on and simmer on high for a further 5 Minutes.

Place the sealed pot in the Wonderbag on top of a tea towel, close the Wonderbag and leave to cook for 60 Minutes. Serve with tacos or tortillas.
